Spring Break Week

While the production season for Unwrapped is over, another season is at it's prime--Spring Skiing! I've been keeping busy with a few freelance TV gigs, but have surely budgeted in some time to get back on snow!

When families head to Vail for Spring Break, that means, there's plenty of lessons to teach!

Unwrapped is Wrapped

Another season on Unwrapped comes to a close...while there may not be any more episodes in production (for now), there will always be more food adventures.

Need shots of people drinking champagne? Flipping out gelatin molds? Cracking chocolate balls? Making eyeglasses out of Samoas? Steaming pot pies? Gingerbread cookie-making? Close-up of bunny pasta? WE GOT THAT B-ROLL!

Way to go, team! Coming to you live from the Lacie nook in the new office!

Chop Chop, Boba Shop! :)

HGTV'd

Working on set of a new show this week--HGTV'd. Can you imagine getting a jaw-dropping room renovation by top designers? Too bad I can't show you--it's SPECTACULAR.

Mental Map

My friend Jax is going to Korea!!! Oh, how I wish I could join her! Since those long lost summers teaching English in Korea, I've been dying to return to make travel videos.

Jax asked me what she should do while she was there...and MAN, it's super hard to explain...for one thing, directions are skechy. The side streets have no names. How can I explain how to find Kogi Kogi or the gold bowl potbingsu place or the soju bar that serves drinks in watermelons? I remember where some of the BEST shopping boutiques are, but I have no clue which subway exit it's at or what the freaking name of the store is, but I could lead you there!

This was the best I could do. How'd I do?

Davemito in Town!

There's nothing like a good friend! Dave popped in from NYC for the weekend. We hit the ground running...skiing in Vail (yes, SKIING), dining in Denver (Hello Denver Restaurant Week--How I've been dying to try you, Lobster Ramen), and strolling in the old hood (house, house, house). It was a much needed visit--wish we could do it more often!
