My company is moving from Centennial to Denver over the new year. It should be a much more happenin' spot, I mean, H-Mart is right around the corner--which means, so is YOGURT and Korean BBQ! Last week at the meeting, they finally admitted our new company office is technically in Aurora, even though our address reads Denver. They weren't foolin' me! haha. That aside, it's pretty shiny and new, gotta love that! Go Unwrapped! What's wrong with having a little beer in the office? :P
Thanksgiving weekend was jam-packed with holiday cheer, celebrating twice, with both Dave's family and mine.
Thanksgiving at Dave's house... with tomato aspic and some TV time And Thanksgiving at mine... with lefse and yiftis ron numnam.
We also attended a true Hawaiian wedding in Black Forest, CO with hula dancing and beautiful Hawaiian flower centerpieces.
We also snuck in a little fishing trip to Monument Lake...which unexpectedly became an ice fishing trip. Thank goodness someone remembered to bring a shovel...
Oscar Blues Brewery in Lyons, CO was a pretty spectacular spot to celebrate Wood's birthday this weekend. We started the evening swimming with the sharks and fishies... Moving along into the blacklight neon arcade room. Who doesn't love a good game of Tetris or pinball (and a pinball game within a pinball game)! Notice the stickers? People love their Tee & Cakes. And, of course, like any good birthday, there was plenty of beer on tap, plus a GIANT slice of birthday cake.
Halloween is here again! With fond memories of last year, I wondered what this year's Halloween would bring. Dave dreamed up a great idea...to be John Lennon and Yoko Ono!!! We stopped by Dr. Crowell's spooky Insane Asylum Before hitting up the par-tay in Denver with Alice in Wonderland! "You can be my Yoko Ono." War is Over. Happy Christmas! From John & Yoko
