In case you were wondering what I do at the production company...
I help produce a TV show for the Food Network called Unwrapped!
My job often has a little something to do with B-Roll...
If you don't know what B-Roll is, watch this:
I plan and produce b-roll shoots. (Trust me, we got that b-roll!)
I make food look goooooood.
and I make sure people are happy when they eat it...
even if it's chocolate covered crickets!!!
I also research and cast products for our show.
I develop stories and set up shoots for field crews (Photos from: Portage Daily Register Newspaper Online article, Students not chicken to go on Food Network, along with Brakebush nuggets, www.portagedailyregister.com)
at some of your favorite food factories around the country! But we have our fair share of fun back here at the office!
Sure, we may not need hairnets and earplugs (as our field crew does when working at noisy food factories)... (Ever wonder what pop bottles look like before they his the shelves?) But we do, on occasion, get special deliveries (ie. having a Slush Puppy machine delivered to Lisa's house). (Not too shabby, until they took it away...)
I suppose we get a lot of "special" deliveries...
Just another day behind the scenes of Unwrapped! Best of all: This is not news!
P. Schaf rocked the house in true blue old-school ski-school fashion. What used to be a weekly gathering has now become a sacred annual event. Thanks to the die-hard fans, I'm here to tell the truth, that the DJ Latenite tradition lives on live and well. As all good nights at Vail's Ski Bar / Whisky Jacks tend to go, this Tuesday night was jam-packed with party peeps looking to have a good time...which meant great deals on drinks, tons of friends, and even a few spins on the pole. Shout out to everyone who has ever attended one of DJ Latenite's late night jams. And cheers to Jax and her snowboard student / true life pole dance instructor who kindly demoed a few new moves... Until next time...
