Three nights of non-stop musical action featuring Colorado favorites, such as The Fray, Leftover Salmon and Big Head Todd & the Monsters kicked off the winter season at Vail Snow Daze. This magnificent lineup crowns the weeklong series of Snow Daze festivities, bringing together fans from near and far. Music-lovers packed into Dobson Arena, tapping to the beats of Big Head Todd & the Monsters, and dancing, or shall we say, hula-hooping, to Leftover Salmon. Fans stood in the middle of a snowstorm while singing along with The Fray at Ford Park. Nothing, and we repeat nothing, could have stopped this long awaited winter celebration—and the snow Gods were oh-so-pleased. With over a foot of fresh snow blanketing Vail Mountain Sunday morning, Vail Snow Daze delivered all promises and then some.
