Party time in the high country
The snow is melting quickly, and sadly, it’s almost time to kiss the ski season goodbye. The good news is that many of Colorado’s popular ski destinations plan to go out with a bang—well, more like a splash—because it’s not about the skiing. It’s about the party. And these ski resorts know how to party. Grab some sunscreen and ski your heart out. Then prepare for night after night of headliner concerts and crazy on-mountain events. Expect super-styley stunts at the ski and snowboard comps, the best of 80’s retro gear, and psychos skiing (and sinking) across an icy-cold pond. You’ll have to see it to believe it. What better way to wrap up the winter ski season?–Juliana Broste, Special to Metromix
