Behind the Scenes

One of the greatest things about being a freelancer is that you get to work on a variety of projects.

No two days are the same.  It's a big ol' mix and match.
I've been busy shooting some fun and flashy events...

like the Starz Film Fest Opening Night.  Saw Drake Doremus, Director of Like Crazy, walking down the red carpet -- Great movie!

I've also been writing scripts and hiding out in my traveling edit bay, cutting a few videos for the travel-inspired.  Gotta love FCP.  Yeee haaaw.

And, I'm thrilled to be spending more time in the field...and by field, I also mean plateau.  Just polished off a little project in Grand Junction with a crew, too good to be true.  Go Britt!

Chucks and Clucks aside, it was fun seeing the "other" side of Colorado for a change.  The scenery is entirely different.  But, I couldn't help but wonder, in a town where all the streets are named after numbers and letters of the alphabet...why is 12th street in between 27 1/2 street and 26 1/2 street on F street?
Despite the confusion, it's certainly better than getting lost in cubicle land.

What's next?

You just never know!
